The concept of Dogs On The Beach refers to the aspiration of living as much as possible like “Dogs On The Beach” with excitement, happiness, playfulness in nature, content in our surrounding and the people we are with, in love, in adventure and carefree. Just like “Dogs On The Beach”.
The album features accompanying vocals from Glasgow based Mexican poet Juana Adcock and fellow musicians David Philp and Hugo Francis. The album was recorded at CaVa Sound and Monstera Studios and engineered and mixed by Geoff Allan. Mastering was carried out by Samual J. Smith at Green Door Studios. Produced 2021-23.
Photography and artwork on the album was produced by South African artist Jess Holdengarde.
The musical journey of Dogs On The Beach touches on many various musical styles including Shoe Gaze, Hardcore, Surf, Rock, Experimental, Ambient Drone and Delta Blues.
