Ovals is the solo sound experiment and music of Matthew Black based in Glasgow Scotland. Ovals is a guitarist and drummer formally of Uncle John and Whitelock, Tut Vu Vu and Big Farmer. Ovals is a solo and collaborative project encompassing experimental, punk rock, surf, progressive, ambient, blues and jazz music forms.
