‘The House Of Tomorrow’ is the third release by The Magnetic Fields was originally released in 1992 and saw Stephin Merritt stepping up to the mic following the departure of vocalist Susan Anway. Merritt’s vocals have a melancholic quality to them, leading him to liken them to sounding like The Jesus & Mary Chain. Elsewhere, he likens the EP to ELO without keyboards and Fleetwood Mac’s experimental classic ‘Tusk’.
